Project Type: Lighting control system retrofit and integration
Challenge: The client wants to have more control of lighting and integration with motorized drapes and media
Solution: The Vantage IC DIN Lite II controller with RadioLink was installed along with EasyTouch II dimmers and as an interface with other components in the home. The drapes that are powered with Somfy motors are integrated with Vantage. Buttons on the EasyTouch II keypads of the dimmers open and close the drapes. Timers using astronomical clocks will control lighting and shading throughout the day and evening. Vantage low voltage relays control the fireplace and the motorized dropdown TV in the Master bedroom. All of these functions and all media is controlled by and RTI T2i touchscreen remote and XP3 processor for easy and convenient use.
All lighting, shading and media is controlled by Vantage and the Equinox mobile app and by the RTI T2i remote
A motorized lift was installed for the TV in the master bedroom. This can be controlled by a button on the lighting keypad or the RTI remote
A Welcome button at the front entrance will turn on all the lights and open the drapes upon arrival. A Goodbye button will turn everything off including audio and video and close the drapes when leaving.
