Project Type: Complete remodeling of a townhome with all new lighting
Challenge: This 4 floor townhome was being remodeled for the first time in twenty years. All lighting throughout the 4 storey home was being replaced.
Solution: A Vantage Controls centralized lighting system was installed to provide convenient control of 48 loads of lighting over 4 floors. This was also integrated into the distributed audio system throughout the home. This provided the convenience of being able to make sure all lights were off at night without having to run up and down each flight of stairs. The centralized lighting system eliminated three-way lighting and reduced wall clutter through the use of the Vantage EasyTouch II keypads and Equinox touchscreen. The keypads and touchscreens along with the mobile app also provided simple control of audio.
The home security system, HVAC, garage door, chandelier motors, TVs and home theater sound were also integrated into the system. At the end of the night the home owner could go to the master bedroom, press a single button and know that all the lights were off, garage door shut, security system was armed and all of the audio and video was turned off, providing her with convenience and a peace of mind.
All lighting, audio and video are easily controlled by an EQ41 touchscreen.

EasyTouch II keypads are used throughout the home to control lighting and audio.
Including the basement, this home has 4 floors. A lighting control system is simple and makes life easy.

An EQ40 touchscreen controls the lights, audio, video, HVAC and ceiling fan from one location.
Surround sound in the family room is controlled by Vantage and an RTI T2i touchscreen remote.
The builder installed an elevator in the home to service the 4 floors. We didn't integrate anything with it, but it's cool!.
Four Vantage dimming modules provide dimming control for 48 loads of lighting.
